Chandigarh: In a major corruption scandal, Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Chandigarh Mayor, Kuldeep Kumar, also known as Tita, has been accused of accepting a bribe of ₹75,000 along with his brother-in-law in exchange for appointing a sanitation worker. A police complaint has been filed against both individuals, and the matter is now under secret investigation.

The controversy erupted after 15 audio recordings allegedly implicating the mayor and his brother-in-law went viral. According to sources, a complainant submitted these recordings to the police, claiming they contain evidence of bribery demands made for the appointment.
