Entrepreneurship Awareness Program Discussion on Employment on the 7th Day of the Entrepreneurship Development Program at Ramnagar College

Ramnagar: On the 7th day of the 12-day Entrepreneurship Development Program at PNG Government Postgraduate College, Ramnagar, in the first session, the Nodal Officer, Prof. Jagmohan Singh Negi, explained that for a successful entrepreneur, it is essential to invest according to the changing market trends and focus on emerging markets and needs. Before establishing a business, it is necessary to understand the market’s requirements and the competition in commercialization.

The distinguished speaker, Dr. Mulchandra Shukla, Head of the Sanskrit Department, explained with examples like “उद्यमेन हि सिद्ध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः” that diligent efforts are the key to becoming a successful entrepreneur. He further emphasized that adopting four principles—intelligence, honesty, responsibility, and courage—can lead students to success.

Dr. JP Tyagi shared his views on the entrepreneurship scheme. In the second session, the chief guest, Nayan Jyoti Talukdar, Scientific Officer in Electronics, explained six real reasons why people become entrepreneurs and highlighted the crucial role of entrepreneurship in a country’s economic development. He stated that the opportunities presented by a successful business lead to long-term economic progress and that entrepreneurship helps develop an individual’s capabilities.

He also elaborated on SWOT analysis, startups, types of startups, information about the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, and its schemes, providing detailed insights to the students.

The event was attended by the college principal, Prof. M.C. Pandey, Prof. S.S. Maurya, Dr. Pramod Joshi, Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Dr. Deepak Khati, Dr. D.N. Joshi, Dr. Subhash Pokhriyal, Dr. P.C. Paliwal, Dr. Navbha Joshi, Deepak Singh, and all the participating students.
