Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri starrer ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is clashing with Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer ‘Jigra’ at the box office. It is a comedy-drama which is set in the 1990s with a retro theme and reminds us of the old days. ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ had an opening of Rs 5.5 crore at the box office.
Its budget is approximately Rs 30 crore. After the earnings of the first day, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ got the benefit of the weekend on the second day of its release and it earned Rs 6.9 crore at the domestic box office, but on Sunday there was a decline in the earnings of the film. On the third day, the film earned Rs 6.4 crore.
The film failed the Monday test. ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ earned a huge drop of Rs 2.4 crore on the fourth day. The film earned Rs 2.1 crore on the fifth day. And on the sixth day, the film’s earnings have declined. According to initial figures, the film earned Rs 1.43 crore on the sixth day. Now, the total earnings of the film have become Rs 24.73 crore.
