Why did the Chief Minister go to meet PM Modi after coming out of jail, know what happened
New Delhi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu on Monday, July 15. CM Soren reached Delhi and then reached the Prime Minister’s Office and met PM Modi. This is the first meeting between Jharkhand CM Soren and PM Modi after being released from jail in the last week of June. The High Court had granted bail to Hemant Soren in the land scam, after which he came out of jail on June 28.
Pictures of the meeting between PM Modi and Jharkhand CM have also been shared by the Prime Minister’s Office. In this picture, it can be seen that Hemant Soren is presenting a bouquet of flowers to Prime Minister Modi. In another picture, both of them can be seen sitting and discussing. Sharing the picture from its official handle on social media platform X, the PMO wrote, “Jharkhand Chief Minister met PM Modi.”
It is believed that there has been a discussion between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Hemant Soren regarding the development of Jharkhand. After coming out of jail, Hemant Soren has once again taken oath as CM in place of Champai Soren. After becoming the CM, he wants to focus on the development of Jharkhand once again. For this, he also needs the help of the central government. It is expected that he would have demanded funds or projects for Jharkhand.
Earlier on Saturday, he met Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and then Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal. During these meetings, his wife and JMM MLA Kalpana Soren was also with him.
