Chandigarh Chemists Association handed over the demand charter to BJP president Jatinder Pal Malhotra and candidate Sanjay Tandon here today at BJP office Kamalam in Sector 33.
On this occasion, BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra said today the picture of a changed India is in front of you, to maintain and increase the pace at which development has taken place in the last 10 years, Prime Minister should be elected in the country again.
Malhotra said elections in Chandigarh are on June 1 and this is also the time of holidays for educational institutions. He appealed to make travel plans only after June 1-2 and by participating in this great festival of democracy, Chandigarh should make a record in terms of voting percentage.
Sanjay Tandon welcomed Chandigarh Chemists Association to the party office. He said the
BJP has got the support of the association earlier also and he is confident that the BJP will continue to get the same support in future also.
Tandon said till now I have been present in your service without the power of a pen, in future when the power of the pen will come, it will be for the people of Chandigarh only. Anup Gupta and Vinay Jain, presidents of Chandigarh Chemist Association, wrote the demand charter and made some special demands.
He told the gathering there are more than 10 lakh members of the association across the country and Chandigarh Chemist Association is a big organization of the UT, but till now they do not even have office space. He demanded from Tandon that if he wins the election, he should provide office space, apartment act. The association hopes that they will play their role in solving the problems like old cases of GSP and VAT. On this occasion, a large number of officials and members including Prince Bandula, Deepak Batra, Dr. Kamal Gupta and Deepak Kumar were present.
