After recovering from the paper leak cases of recruitment examinations, now Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has taken more strict action against the cheaters. He will not be able to escape from the legal proceedings by going to the court due to the action of debarring the Commission. For this, the Commission has prepared rules, under which the Commission will directly debar for one to five years.
In fact, the Commission had debarred 249 candidates from the examinations for five years in the paper leak cases of eight recruitment examinations. Of these, about 65 candidates had obtained a stay from the High Court. The Commission had taken the debarment action on the basis of police investigation, but the police made most of the candidates government witnesses. Due to this, these candidates can appear in the examinations at present. But due to these legal maneuvers, candidates will not be able to avoid being debarred in the future.
The commission will screen the candidates very carefully.
Commission Chairman GS Martolia said that the Commission has prepared a manual and sent it to the government. Under this, candidates will be punished in five categories. This includes using mobile or calculator in the examination hall, appearing in the examination in place of someone else, copying by exchanging the OMR sheet, carrying a duplicate copy of OMR with you in the examination and copying in any other way. Category included.
He told that in this category wise commission has made a rule to debar from one to five years. After getting approval from the government, the Commission will implement this rule in all the upcoming recruitment examinations. After its implementation, the Commission will screen the candidates very closely.
There will be no conflict with anti-copying law
UKSSSC President GS Martolia said that the anti-copying law applicable in the state is applicable in case of action at the police level. There are separate provisions of punishment for candidates under this law. But the Commission has made these rules to take action at its level. According to the seriousness of the case, the Commission will also file an FIR.
