Haryana Elections Result: Hooda takes decisive lead, BJP candidate Nayab Saini ahead from Ladwa seat; Congress lags behind

Counting of votes has started for 90 seats in Haryana. Initially, Congress was way ahead in the trends, but after some time there was a turnaround and BJP took the lead.
BJP’s CM candidate Nayab Saini is leading from Ladwa. Bhupinder Singh Hooda is ahead with decisive votes from Garhi Sampla Kiloi. Anil Vij is stuck in a tough contest from Ambala Cantt. BJP candidate Manish Grover is leading from Rohtak. Independent Savitri Jindal is way ahead from Hisar.
The contest has become interesting with the entry of famous faces and rebels in the political battle of Haryana Assembly elections. During the 49 days of campaigning, the candidates of BJP, Congress, INLD-BSP, JJP-ASP and AAP tried their best to woo the voters with their promises and announcements. This time in the elections some candidates have entered the fray to carry forward the political legacy of their family. Know the status of such 12 special seats of the state on which all eyes are fixed.
Hisar: Savitri Jindal, contesting as an independent candidate, is leading
In Hisar, the hottest seat of Bangar, BJP minister Dr. Kamal Gupta is in the fray for the fifth time. Dr. Gupta has been the health and urban development minister. CM Naib Singh Saini, former CM Manohar Lal and star campaigner Smriti Irani reached out to him. PM Modi also held a rally in Hisar. Despite the campaigning of bigwigs, the biggest problem for him has been created by Savitri Jindal, who rebelled against the BJP and is contesting as an independent candidate. Ramniwas Rada is in the fray from Congress.
Dabwali: Competition between three members of Tau Devi Lal’s family
In Dabwali, adjacent to Rajasthan and Punjab, there is competition between three members of former Deputy Prime Minister Tau Devi Lal’s family. Amit Sihag from Congress, Aditya Devi Lal from INLD and Digvijay Chautala from JJP are pitted against each other.
Tosham: Brother-sister…who will be hit by Parmar
In former Chief Minister Choudhary Bansi Lal’s stronghold Tosham, his grandson and granddaughter are pitted against each other, Congress candidate Anirudh Chaudhary and BJP candidate Shruti Chaudhary. After 26 years, both families have come out in the fray against each other. In Tosham, both are fighting to prove themselves as Bansi Lal’s heir. BJP rebel Shashi Ranjan Parmar has made this fight between the two interesting. Parmar, who is contesting as an independent candidate, will decide the victory or defeat of both.
Sirsa: Gopal Kanda stuck in a tough fight
There are only two names in the streets of Sirsa city and village. One is Gopal and the other is Gokul. Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) candidate Gopal Kanda has the support of BJP and INLD, while Congress’s Gokul Setia stood alone without anyone’s support. Be it the campaign field or social media, both stood against each other on every platform. Both told about their work on the issue of drug addiction and development of the city. Right now Gopal Kanda is ahead but the fight is tough.
Rania: Discussion on grandfather-grandson fight among Kambojs
In the initial phase of Rania’s battle, there was a direct contest between Dada Chaudhry Ranjit Singh who entered the fray as an independent candidate and his grandson INLD candidate Arjun Chautala, but after that the fight became multi-cornered. Congress’ Sarvamitra Kamboj also came into the main contest. People are not considering BJP candidate Sheeshpal Kamboj as weak either. Apart from him, AAP candidate Harpinder Kamboj is also making an impact.
Julana
The contest has come down to Jat versus Brahmin. Congress, which has not been able to win since 2005, has fielded Olympian Vinesh Phogat this time. Congress has the support of Vinesh’s Jat face and celebrity status. On the other hand, BJP has tried to woo OBC votes by fielding Yogesh Bairagi. Congress rebel Dr. Surendra Lathar is contesting on INLD ticket.
Uchana Kalan – Former Congress MP Brijendra Singh, former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala from JJP and Devendra Atri from BJP are in the fray from this Jat dominated seat. Congress rebel Virendra Ghogharia is also not out of the race. Atri is a Brahmin face, the rest of the candidates are Jats. If the votes of Jat voters are divided then BJP may benefit.
Nuh – This time, the spark of establishing supremacy between two big political families is burning in Nuh, which was in news a year ago due to violence. The main contest here is between the candidates of Congress and INLD. Tahir Hussain, the fourth generation of Yasin family, wants to start his political innings from INLD. He is pitted against CLP Deputy Leader Aftab Ahmed, son of late senior Congress leader Khurshid Ahmed and a two-time MLA and minister.
Ladwa
In the state’s most talked about and hot seat Ladwa, victory or defeat depends on the Jat and OBC vote bank. 60 percent are OBCs, out of which more than 20 percent are Saini, while more than 18 percent and 11 percent are Brahmins, who also have their own influence. Chief Minister Naib Saini is in the fray as a BJP candidate from here, who is a big face of the party’s OBC section. Congress candidate from the Jat community and outgoing MLA Meva Singh is Naib Saini’s main rival. Naib Saini is leading.
Jagadhri
There is a tough competition between BJP and Congress, but the INLD-BSP alliance and Aam Aadmi Party candidates are also making the contest interesting. Congress candidate and former BSP MLA Akram Khan is in the fray against BJP’s Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar. BSP has been elected MLA here thrice, so BSP is also making the contest triangular here. BSP can get the benefit of social engineering due to its alliance with INLD.
Ambala Cantonment
Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara is standing in the way of BJP candidate Anil Vij and Congress candidate Parvinder Singh Pari from Ambala Cantonment. Chitra has made the contest triangular. Chitra is in the fray as a rebel after not getting a ticket from Congress. Her father former minister Nirmal Singh is contesting as a Congress candidate from Ambala City seat. MP Kumari Selja has got the ticket for Parvinder Singh Pari from here by snatching the seat from Hooda camp. Due to this Chitra is in the fray. Vij can get the benefit of this. Vij is ahead. However the contest is tough.
Badshahpur – This time the battle for the throne in Haryana’s largest assembly constituency Badshahpur is between experience and age. Experience is of BJP’s veteran leader and former minister Rao Narbir and age is of Congress’ youngest leader and first time election candidate Vardhan Yadav. Narbir won this seat for the first time in 2014 and became a minister in the Manohar government. Now BJP has fielded him again. Independent Kumudni is spoiling the equations of both. Her husband Rakesh died before the elections, due to which people have sympathy for her.
Congress’s Gokul Setia leads in Sirsa, leads by 1546 votes
Congress candidate Gokul Setia has taken a significant lead in the sixth round of election counting in Sirsa assembly constituency. Currently, Gokul Setia has 32603 votes in his account, while his nearest rival, Halopa’s Gopal Kanda has secured 31057 votes.
Gokul Setia’s lead is of 1546 votes, which is a positive sign for the supporters of the Congress party. With the lead in this round, he has strengthened his position, and now all eyes are on the results of the next round.
Savitri Jindal wins from Hisar
Savitri Jindal has registered a spectacular victory in the election from Hisar Assembly Constituency with a lead of 19500 votes. Due to not getting a ticket from BJP, she contested the election as an independent candidate and won with the support of the public.
It is worth noting that Savitri Jindal’s son Naveen Jindal is currently a BJP Lok Sabha MP from Kurukshetra, but this time his mother has separated from BJP and registered her victory as an independent candidate. Savitri Jindal contested the election against former BJP minister Kamal Gupta.
BJP’s Krishan Middha wins Jind assembly seat by 15860 votes
BJP candidate Dr. Krishan Middha has won Jind assembly constituency by 15860 votes. He got a total of 68920 votes, defeating Congress candidate Mahavir Gupta, who got 53060 votes. This victory is considered important for the BJP.

BJP’s Manmohan Singh Bhadana wins from Samalkha assembly constituency by 19340 votes
In the elections held in Samalkha assembly constituency, BJP candidate Manmohan Singh Bhadana has won by a margin of 19340 votes. After 17 rounds of counting, Bhadana got a total of 80950 votes, defeating Congress candidate Dharam Singh Chhokar, who got 61610 votes. Independent candidate Ravinder Machrauli got only 2162 votes, due to which he lagged far behind the contest.
Out of a total of 167317 votes in Samalkha, BJP’s Bhadana got the highest number of votes, due to which BJP won this seat. Bhadana’s victory is being seen as a big success for the BJP in the area.
BJP’s Harvinder Kalyan’s victory from Gharaunda assembly constituency for the third consecutive time is almost certain. Although the official announcement is yet to be made, his victory is considered certain considering his lead. Meanwhile, incidents of scuffle between supporters of Congress candidate Virendra Rathore and the police have come to the fore, due to which there is an atmosphere of tension in the area.
Apart from this, BJP’s performance has been better in other assembly seats of Karnal district as well. BJP’s Ramkumar Kashyap is leading from Indri seat, while BJP’s Yogendra Rana is in first place on Assandh seat and Congress’ Shamsher Singh Gogi is in second place. BJP’s Jagmohan Anand has also taken the lead on Karnal assembly seat.
After the scuffle by Congress supporters in Gharaunda, the police have tried to control the situation. Everyone is waiting for the official announcement of the election results, but there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the party supporters due to the victory of BJP’s Harvinder Kalyan.
Aditya Surjewala won by 8137 votes
Aditya Surjewala has won by a margin of 8137 votes in his first assembly election victory. Aditya, son of Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, has made a great start to his political journey with this victory.
BJP’s Ramkumar Gautam won by 4182 votes from Safidon assembly constituency
BJP’s Ramkumar Gautam won by a margin of 4182 votes from Safidon assembly constituency. Gautam got a total of 58669 votes, while his nearest rival Subhash Gangoli of Congress got 54517 votes. In this tough contest, BJP’s Ramkumar Gautam demonstrated his political strength and won.
