Bypassing the anti-incumbency wave, the ruling BJP has registered a bumper victory in Haryana for the third time in a row. After the victory, Saini expressed his gratitude to the voters and said that the people have put their stamp on the policies of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After BJP’s landslide victory in Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini arrived in Delhi on Wednesday to meet PM Narendra Modi. Sources said Saini may consult the PM to finalise his cabinet.
In Haryana, BJP performed its best with 48 seats, 11 more than Congress, parties like JJP and AAP were wiped out and INLD got just two seats. AAP had contested the election on its own.
The BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third consecutive time, proving the exit poll predictions of a Congress victory wrong. Praising the victory of Prime Minister Modi, Saini said that all communities voted for the BJP because of good governance.
