Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal Urges Voters to Support BJP in Municipal Elections
Ramnagar: In the ongoing municipal elections, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal on Monday conducted a public outreach campaign in the main market, urging voters to support the BJP’s candidate for the position of Municipal Chairperson. Later, in a press conference, the MP claimed that BJP candidates would achieve an unprecedented victory in the municipal elections. During his public campaign in the main market, Bansal appealed to the public to vote for BJP, assuring that wherever the party’s candidates win, there would be all-round development.
In the press conference, Bansal further stated that in the municipal elections, the party will win 11 city corporations, as well as the majority of seats in 100 municipal councils and municipal boards. The BJP MP dismissed any notion of factionalism within the party, asserting that all workers are completely united. He acknowledged that during elections, some individuals’ ambitions might increase, but such behavior is not in the best interest of the party.
During the campaign, MLA Diwan Singh Bisht, party candidate Madan Joshi, former Municipal Chairperson Bhagirath Lal Chaudhary, Ganesh Rawat, Deepak Sharma, Basant Negi, Ashish Thakur, and several other party workers were present.
