It has been reported that in Kerala on Wednesday Widespread rains and sea incursion were observed in several parts and higher authorities have issued an alert to people living on the banks of water bodies.
Moreover, it has been observed that except the northern districts of Malappuram, Wayanad and Kasaragod, several parts of the rest of the 11 districts have been receiving heavy rains accompanied by strong winds since last night.
The department of India Meteorological sounds ‘yellow alert’ in that areas. However, claimed to have the possibility of heavy rainfall, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Idukki, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur and Lakshadweep.
Moreover, Higher Authorities warned people living on the banks of various water bodies in the district to be extra vigilant as the water level was steadily
rising.
Apart from this, Uprooting of trees and water-logging were also reported across the state.
