Haridwar : Thana Kankhal Police has arrested three accused while disclosing the murder case of Rajdulari resident of Bhagirathi Vihar Colony, Missarpur. One accused is still absconding. Which the police are looking for. One pair of tops, one chain, two beads, two ATM cards, Aadhar card of the deceased, cycle used in the incident, broken lock, bars used to break the lock, etc. have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Giving information to the journalists in police station Kankhal, SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay said that on the night of May 20, the old lady Rajdulari was killed by miscreants who had entered the house with the intention of looting. The deceased lived alone. The son of the deceased living in Delhi had filed a case of murder. Six teams of police station Kankhal, Nagar Kotwali and CIU were formed for the disclosure of the incident and the arrest of the miscreants. The police team involved in the investigation, including interrogation of the caretaker of Rajdulari, checked the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the spot and on the roads. More than two hundred suspects were questioned. The help of informers was also taken. Kankhal police station in-charge Kamal Kumar Lunthi, who was involved in the investigation, got information from the informer that three miscreants who carried out the Rajdulari murder in Missarpur are present at Khokhra Tirahe and are trying to carry out the theft incident in Jagjitpur area.
Acting on the information, the station in-charge arrested the three miscreants along with the police force. The miscreants caught in the interrogation Sompal alias Soma resident of Bhola Muzaffarnagar UP, Sonveer alias Sonu resident of Niranjanpur police station Laksar Haridwar, Hal resident of Bhokkarhedi police station Bhopa Muzaffarnagar UP, Neetu resident of Dairy police station Khanpur Haridwar, Hal resident of Jai Singh Chaudhary. Bagh police station Laksar told that he along with another fellow Meenu resident Niranjanpur police station Laksar had entered the house with the intention of robbing and killed the old lady Rajdulari. The SP City said that there are cases against the accused under several serious sections including murder and Wildlife Protection Act. The search is on for the absconding accused Neetu. Soon he too will be arrested. On the disclosure of the incident, the SSP has announced a cash reward of Rs 2.5 thousand to the police team. During this, CO City Abhay Singh, Kankhal police station in-charge Kamal Kumar Lunthi were also present.
