Pakistani drone came twice at Sundergarh post in Ajnala of Amritsar sector. BSF contingent patrolling the border forced them to return by firing on the drone both times.
On Monday, once again a drone came from Pakistan side in the border post Sundergarh area of Ajnala tehsil under Border Security Force Khasa, Amritsar sector. On Monday, first at 11.45 am and after that at around one o’clock in the afternoon, the drone came from Pakistan side.
BSF contingent patrolling the border forced them to return by firing on the drone both times. Soon after, a search operation was conducted in the Border Observing Post (BOP) Sundergarh area, but during this time the security forces could not find anything from there.
According to the information, 183 battalion of BSF is deployed in Ajnala area. The force personnel were patrolling the Sundergarh post at around 11.45 am on Monday, when they saw a drone coming from Pakistan side. Soon after, the soldiers opened fire on the drone, after which the drone returned soon after. On receiving the information, the BSF officials who reached the spot along with the police started the search operation in the area.
