Navjot Singh Sidhu, the new president of the Pradesh Congress in Punjab, tweeted first that he would take everyone in the Congress family with him. As a Congress worker, he will fulfill the mission of ‘Jittega Punjab’. The 18-point agenda of the High Command and the Punjab model will give strength to the people. Sidhu wrote that his journey has just begun. He also thanked Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi in the tweet. He said that he would fulfill the trust placed in him by the Congress High Command.
In the midst of all this, Sidhu has not yet reconciled with Captain Amarinder Singh. Captain Sidhu has insisted on a public apology for the allegations leveled against the government in tweets and interviews before he became Punjab Congress president. Meanwhile, some ministers are advising the captain that when he can forget the statement of MP Pratap Singh Bajwa and the letters written to the high command, then forget the tweets and statements of Sidhu. It is believed that Sidhu can now go to the farm house to meet the captain along with some Congress ministers and MLAs.
After getting the important responsibility of Congress President in Punjab, Sidhu also remembered his father Bhagwant Singh Sidhu. In the first tweet, he wrote that he joined the freedom struggle. Due to which he was sentenced to death. He then became the District Congress President, MLA, MLC and Advocate General. He has tweeted a picture of his father with former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
