Laldu – The people of Derabassi constituency blindly voted for Aam Aadmi Party in the last elections but within two and a half years, people are fed up with AAP’s working style. The above views were expressed by Dharmendra Sharma, brother of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, during the election campaign today after visiting villages like Sitarpur, Kurli, Humbra, Rajomajra, Hansala, Dhirmajra, Malakpur etc. of Laldu constituency.
He said that the people of Derabassi are fed up with the lies of MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa. During the two and a half years of working style, your MLA has proved to be a paper leader. He said that MLA today are running away from talking about development.
The situation is such that the city councils are not getting any grants in the last two and a half years. The roads in the area are in broken condition. The people of Derabassi area are yearning for basic facilities. During the Akali Dal government, crores of rupees were spent to provide nature park facilities to the city residents. Due to the incompetence of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, these parks have been destroyed today.
Seeing their political ground slipping, MLAs are misleading people by making false statements. On this occasion, many dignitaries including Akali leader Bahadur Singh Jharmadi, Shivdev Singh Kurli, Timmy Poonia, Hardam Jasdhana, Sohan Rana, Manjeet Saini, Gurjit Kurli were present.
