Attack on family sleeping at home, husband-wife strangled to death, elderly also stabbed with knife – Husband-wife Strangled To Death In Transit Camp Mother-in-law Injured Murder
Rudrapur : Suddenly someone attacked the family sleeping in the house. First, the husband was killed, then the wife, who came out after hearing her cries, was also strangled to death. Not only this, the accused did not even leave the elderly mother-in-law in the house.
By entering the house in the transit camp, the young man killed the husband and wife by slitting their throats. On hearing the commotion, the mother-in-law was also injured by stabbing her in the stomach. Whose treatment is going on in a private hospital located at Civil Line. On information, the higher officials gave directions to reach the spot. Police teams are raiding in search of the accused.
Sanjay Yadav (38) lives in Shivnagar ward number 7 Transit Camp Rudrapur with his wife Sonali (34) and two children Annu and Jai. He fell asleep around 11 pm on Wednesday night. Son Jai slept with Nani Gauri Mandal in the other room while daughter Annu slept with Sanjay and Sonali. Around two o’clock in the night, a young man who was on rent in the neighborhood entered the house carrying a knife. He slit Sanjay’s throat and killed him. Sonali and daughter Annu woke up on Sanjay’s shout. The young man also killed Sonali by slitting her throat and arm. Also stabbed in the back. When Annu ran out screaming, grandmother Gauri Mandal also woke up and when she came into the room, the assailant stabbed her too. She fell down after being injured by a knife in her stomach.
Hearing the screams in the house, when the neighbors reached, the attacker fled while waving the knife. On information, SHO Sundaram Sharma reached the spot with the force. The injured Gauri Mandal was admitted to a private hospital. Teams have been formed to search for the accused. CO City Anusha Badola said that the police teams are trying to nab the accused after taking information about the possible hideouts of the accused.(HB)
