Nainital – The police has issued a route plan for Nainital to relieve the tourists from the jam on weekends. At the same time, the weather patterns are different in Kumaon, whereas in Amritpur near Haldwani, a young man died due to drowning while bathing in the river.

The High Court Bar Association has expressed gratitude to former Chief Minister and former Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for sending a letter to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the High Court shifting issue. In the meeting held in the Bar Auditorium, Bar Association President DCS Rawat said that the letter sent by Koshyari to the Chief Minister is in accordance with the public sentiments. In this, suggestions have been given to create harmony among the general public in Uttarakhand and to avoid the practice like referendum regarding transfer of the High Court.

This plan will be effective for tourists, general public and drivers going towards Nainital or Bhimtal on Saturday and Sunday. SSP PS Meena said that due to excessive pressure of vehicles, tourist vehicles coming from Bareilly Road, Rampur Road and Kaladhungi will be parked at Gaulapar Stadium. From there we will enter Nainital by shuttle service.

Forest workers had to face a lot of difficulties in extinguishing the fire that broke out in Fatehpur range of Ramnagar forest division on Thursday night. The fire could be controlled by Friday morning.

The weather patterns in Kumaon are varied. In the hilly districts, the weather is pleasant due to light rain showers, whereas in Terai Bhabar, it is scorching heat. The highest temperature of May was recorded on Friday. After 40 degrees on May 15, the temperature reached 41 degrees on Friday, which is the highest in this month since 2011. In 2016, the highest temperature was 39.5 degrees on May 17.

A youth from Bindukhatta drowned while bathing in the river in Amritpur. His companions brought him to the base hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
