Chandigarh 6th January, 2021: An important meeting of the councilors of the Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh was held this evening at the party office “Kamalam” to decide the upcoming strategy for the election of the posts of Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor in the Municipal Corporation. State President Arun Sood, State Organizational General Secretary Dinesh Kumar, General Secretaries Chandra shekhar and Rambir Bhatti and all 19 councilors of the party participated in this meeting.
This information was provided by the party’s State General Secretary Rambir Bhatti. He told that due to Corona, Councilor Heera Negi is admitted in the hospital, so she could not attend the meeting today. She will also participate on the voting day on 8 January. Apart from this, if the doctors are satisfied with the health of Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher, then she will also come to cast her vote on the polling day.
On the other hand, in today’s meeting, various aspects were discussed closely to ensure 100% victory of the BJP candidates in the above three posts. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party activists are like backbone of the party. All the councilors of the party stand with the party like a true soldier. on the call of the State President Arun Sood, all the councilors raised their voices together and said that the candidates for the post of Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be won by an absolute majority and in the election and Congress party candidates will have to face the big defeat during the election.
