The year 2020 had been one of the most stressful one in recent memory and the credit goes to the global pandemic COVID-19. The objective was to relieve some pressure and dancing to some peppy music was the best way out. Keeping this in mind, CGC Jhanjeri organized Zumba session for its staff members bringing smiles on everyone’s face just before Christmas festival.
Coming out of their shyness or inhibition in the beginning, all the staff members enjoyed the session to the brim. The event was started by the handsome host, Abrar Nazir who entertained and warmed up everyone and prepared them for the main session.
Renowned Bollywood choreographer, Mr. Mukesh Sharma, owner, M S Dance Studio carried on the baton of the thrilling session and made everyone dance on different Punjabi, English, Haryanvi and Himachali numbers. Next to join the show was Choreographer, Mr. Tarun Rawat, who shared his own dance moves and got everyone prepped up. Not to be left behind was the Santa Claus, marking the celebration of Christmas festival, was also seen dancing to different songs.
At the conclusion of the event, some good entertaining participants were awarded, namely, Puneet, Kuldeep and Akshita. Speaking on the occasion, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC, stated, “Regular physical activity including dancing are a must for good health and well-being for everyone. Events like these needs to be organized at regular intervals in this time of global pandemic, that helps keep staff members upbeat.” The event was organized by the Department of Student Welfare in association with Athelonics Hybrid Gym.
