The meet brought school principals, teachers and higher education academicians on a common platform and allowed open discussion on creating a roadmap to quality and holistic school education.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized “Principal cum Teachers Meet” at Hotel Remsons Crown, Sangrur. A total of around ___ educators including principals and teachers of different schools participated in the meet and discussed upon the conceptual framework for quality of education at schools. The purpose of the meet was to enlighten the school teachers about new-age teaching methodologies that can be implemented to holistically nurture the students, who are the future of our country.
In the meet, Dr. G G Sastry from CGC Jhanjeri informed the school teachers about methodologies that can be used to make school students future-ready and also discussed the new education policies and how they can benefit in molding student learning patterns in a better way.
The event was attended by principals and teachers of prominent schools of the region.
Offering 5 crores through CGC Josh
CGC Jhanjeri on 22nd January launched its scholarship program naming “CGC Josh”. It is CGC Jhanjeri’s Open Scholarship for Higher-education through which meritorious students can avail themselves scholarships up to 5 crs. It was launched in the college premises by Charanjit Singh Channi, the technical education minister in Punjab Government. The College president “Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal” at the launch event said, “The college will put in best efforts for providing scholarship, additional facilities, and quality education to students. The scholarship worth Rs5 crore is for more than 1,000 students for the year 2021.”
