Uttarkhand’s talented daughter Ankita Dhyani has qualified for the Asian Athletics Championship. She performed brilliantly in the ongoing 26th National Federation Cup Senior Athletics Competition held at Birsa Munda Stadium, Ranchi in Jharkhand. Ankita won the gold medal in the 1500-meter race and with this, she got selected for the Asian Athletics Competition. The competition will be held in Thailand from July 12 to 16. There is an atmosphere of celebration in Uttarakhand due to the success of Ankita. Ankita, who once ran on the rocky paths of the mountain, will now represent the country in Thailand.
Uttarakhand Athletic Union also congratulated Ankita for her great achievement and encouraged her. Ankita honed her skills by working hard at an early age and is continuously increasing the honor of Uttarakhand by flying high. She has won medals in two events in one day at the National Athletics Championships. She has won gold medals many times at the national level in the athletic race of 1.5 KM, 3 KM, and 5 KM. Ankita won gold and silver medals in the 19th National Federation Cup Junior Athletics Championship held in Punjab. Based on her excellent performance, she was selected for the Under-20 World Athletics Championships to be held in Nairobi, Kenya. In this way, Uttarakhand’s golden girl Ankita Dhyani dominated the National Games. Now she will be seen representing the country in Thailand in International Athletics.
