In Haryana, cases of Covid-19 are increasing rapidly and 3,104 new patients have come out in just one day while 25 people have died due to infection. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, a total of 2,12,355 people have been confirmed infected and 2,138 have died due to coronavirus infection so far in the state. Of the new cases reported in a day, 881 are from Faridabad, 793 from Gurgaon, 228 from Hisar, 162 from Sonipat and 107 are from Rohtak. Five people died in Faridabad, four in Rohtak, three each in Gurgaon and Jhajjar, two each in Hisar, Rewari, Sirsa and Fatehabad. People who are currently under the treatment are 20,150 and the recovery rate is 89.50 percent.
At the same time, in Punjab 16 people are died due to covid 19 in one day. While the total number of deaths due to the pandemics in the state has reached 4,572. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, with 819 new cases of infection in Punjab, the number of people infected so far increased to 1,44,995. On last Friday, four people died in Jalandhar, three in Mohali, two each in Ferozepur and Mansa, while one person each died of infection in Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana, Muktsar and Patiala. According to the bulletin, 6,504 people are currently being treated by Covid-19 in the state. Chandigarh has received 150 new infections on Friday while one person has died. So far 16,472 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus and 255 people have died from the infection in the the union territory and the joint capital of Punjab-Haryana.
