The second order on behalf of DC Mandeep Singh of Chandigarh stated that people can be harmed by misuse of military uniform on behalf of people without rights. Due to this, military goods sold in the city and people without rights are banned from wearing uniforms. Such a ban is being imposed so that no anti-social elements pose a threat to civilians by wearing army uniforms.
According to DC, the shopkeepers of the city should sell the uniforms, stickers, logos of the army and police to the people who have the rights for it and for this necessary documents should be taken from them. If anyone violates this order, action will be taken against him under section 188. This order will be in force for 60 days from 18 November 2020 till 16 January 2021.
