Panchkula. The Haryana State Electricity Board Workers Union, the respective employees’ union, demonstrated vigorously in front of Sector-6 Shakti Bhawan on Thursday. The employees warned that if their demands were not fulfilled, they would go on a one-day state-level strike on February 22. Sunil Khatana, State General Secretary of Haryana State Electricity Board Workers Union, concerned employees union said that all the electricity employees of North Haryana demonstrated outside the Electricity Department, Haryana at Panchkula.
Sunil Khatana said that during this a memorandum on the name of the Chief Minister of Haryana was handed over to the MD of UHBVN and other officers. He said that on February 22, a state-level strike has been announced for the demands of the employees. Sunil Khatana said that through this strike, we want to warn the state government that if our demands are not accepted, then we can call an executive meeting and go on indefinite strike. Apart from this, the protesters have also demanded to provide modern facilities to the electricity employees, payment of the withheld DA of the employees. Sunil Khatana said that on the name of the skill employment center, it is working to cheat thousands of employees of the state.
