Illegal abortion was prepared, health department team reached the spot, two arrested

A case of illegal abortion has come to light in Sanjeevani Hospital of Agroha in Hisar, Haryana. The team of Health Department arrested Dr. Pushpa Sihag and her colleague Sonia. The hospital has been closed after the action.

BAMS degree holder Dr. Pushpa Sihag runs Sanjeevani Hospital in Agroha. She treats in allopathic and describes herself as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. The Health Department team led by Hansi SMO Dr. Kamid Monga raided Sanjeevani Hospital.

Preparations were being made for the abortion of the rape victim of Bhiwani district. For which 5 MTP kit was procured from the woman itself. The Health Department team said that a woman was admitted on the first floor of the hospital. After checking the treatment file of the female patient, it was found that the woman had used MTP kit in the last ten days.

After doing an ultrasound in the hospital, the woman was given the Misoprest pill. The team of Health Department has arrested the hospital operator Dr. Pushpa, his associate Sonia. Both the accused will be produced in the court on Monday afternoon.
