Ratia SDM tightens the noose, DC summons disputed registry file

In the case, the new DC Pradeep Kumar has sought details from the DRO along with the noting of the entire file. At the same time, the stay received from Ratia Court till December 10 has been extended till December 24.

Surrounded by allegations of wrongly registering the name of his wife by following the rules, the process of tightening the noose on Ratia’s SDM Bharat Bhushan Kaushik has started in Haryana. The new DC Pradeep Kumar has directed the DRO and the concerned department to bring the full report of the complaint and the disputed registry on the table by Monday along with the file notings related to the allegations against the SDM.

It is worth mentioning that Amritpal, a resident of Zirakpur, had complained to the DC and SP, alleging that there is a factory in Ratia in an impossible area on Fatehabad Road, which we have occupied for 28 years. This factory came in his share in the family settlement, but a part of the factory was in the name of Kanta Devi in ​​Jamabandi.

Ratia’s SDM misused his post and a dismissed police employee showing his influence got Kanta Devi to register the names of his wives on 29 October. In the said registry number 10429, the place of the factory has been shown as the land of cultivator. The factory was in the municipal area, but got it registered without taking NOC from the municipality. Amritpal alleges that the market value of the land is Rs 4 lakh per marla, while the registry is Rs 4,000 per marla.

Stamp duty evasion of about Rs 5 to 6 lakh has been done in the disputed registry, in the investigation so far in this registry, the officials of the concerned department have estimated the evasion of stamp duty of about Rs 5 to 6 lakh. DC has also been informed about this.
