Robbery from bank cashier in broad daylight in Rewari.
Aditya Kumar told that as soon as he reached the turn of the brass market, two youths already standing there started beating him. The miscreants fled after snatching the bag full of cash and strutting the bike parked some distance ahead.
Two miscreants looted cash worth Rs 7 lakh from an employee of the finance company in broad daylight at around 3.30 pm on Wednesday in Brass Market of the city. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of fear among the traders of the city. After the information of the robbery, the top police officials reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
According to the information, the office of Mahindra Finance Company is open in the posh Brass Market of the city. On Wednesday afternoon, at around 3.30 pm, the cashier of the bank, Aditya Kumar, a resident of village Mandhan, Rajasthan, had left with a bike to deposit about Rs 7 lakh in a cash bag and deposit it in the new Anaj Mandi branch of Punjab National Bank near Brass Market.
