Mann Sarkar fulfilled another promise with the farmers

The work of providing financial help to the farmers killed in the farmers’ movement is complete. Fulfilling another promise made with the farmers, the state CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government has completed the work of providing financial assistance of Rs 39.55 crore to the families of 789 farmers who died during the struggle against the black agricultural laws. The CM informed that the families of the killed farmers have been given Rs 5 lakh per family as financial help by the state government.
He informed that total financial assistance of Rs 4.60 crore has been given to 89 families of Mansa, Rs 1.05 crore to 21 families of Tarn Taran, and Rs 5.85 crore to 117 families of Sangrur, Rs 3.45 crore to 69 families of Moga, 10 from Fazilka. 50 lakh families, Rs 2.37 crore to 48 families of Ludhiana, Rs 2.15 crores to 43 families of Barnala, Rs 5.55 crores to 111 families of Patiala, Rs 95 lakhs to 19 families of Amritsar,
A total of Rs 35 lakh was given to seven families of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Rs 50 lakh to 10 families of SAS Nagar, and Rs 4.15 crore to 83 families of Bathinda.
CM said that similarly, the state government has given a total of Rs 1.73 crore to 35 families of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Rs 1 crore to 20 families of Gurdaspur, Rs 1.20 crore to 24 families of Fatehgarh Sahib, Rs 60 lakh to 12 families of Jalandhar, Ferozepur. 75 lakhs to 15 families of Hoshiarpur, Rs 50 lakhs to 10 families of Hoshiarpur, Rs 5 lakhs to one family of Kapurthala, Rs 20 lakhs to four families of Malerkotla, Rs 1.50 crores to 30 families of Faridkot and Rs 55 to 11 families of Rupnagar.
He made it clear that every promise made with the grain producers of the state would be fulfilled. The CM reiterated the state government’s firm commitment to rescue the farmers of Punjab from the current agrarian crisis. He said that the state government has projected moong as a replacement crop, which is being procured at least at the minimum support price (MSP). Bhagwant Mann said that the State Government has also given financial assistance to the farmers doing direct sowing of paddy.
