Laldu. Babita Sharma, wife of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, has appealed to the women to unite for the Lok Sabha elections and said that after becoming MP, a skill development center for women will be opened in Laldu area.
Babita Sharma addressed a group of women at Laldu’s Bhai Sangat Singh Bhawan in support of her husband.
He said that the fight in this election is not about power but about principles. The people of Patiala have tried Preneet Kaur four times and every time she has failed on the expectations of the public. Babita Sharma said that the people of Laldu area know very well that their area was developed only during the time of the Akali Dal government. In the last seven years, Laldu area has gone 70 years behind in the field of development.
Babita Sharma appealed to the women to unite and campaign in support of Sharma and said that the interests of women are safe only in the Akali Dal government. The schemes started during the time of Akali Dal, first Congress and now Aam Aadmi Party have cut them and closed them. On this occasion, many dignitaries including former president of Laldu Municipal Council Bullu Singh Rana, Davinder Kaur Sandhu, Malkit Kaur, Bibi Balvinder Kaur were present.
