Amity University Punjab Celebrates Freshers with a Spectacular “Amity’s Got Talent” Extravaganza

Mohali: Amity University Punjab recently organized a spectacular three-day “Amity’s Got Talent” event to welcome its incoming batch of 2023 with a grand celebration of its diverse talents. The festival culminated in a dazzling Fresher’s Day extravaganza featuring scintillating performances across various creative domains.

Over three days, the freshers competed in various events including quizzes, debates, extempore speaking, ideations, photography, gaming, sketching, painting, dance, music, and fashion. The platform allowed the new batch to showcase their exceptional skills and creativity, setting the stage for their journey at the university.

The highlight of the extravaganza was an electric DJ night featuring DJ V Sky that had the students grooving ecstatically to the pulsating beats. The mega event allowed the new batch to bond and make new connections in a vibrant atmosphere buzzing with energy.

The grand finale saw captivating cultural dance acts, enthralling band performances, soulful musical renditions, and a stunning fashion show that left the audience spellbound. The evening also featured the hugely anticipated crowning of Mr and Ms Amity Fresher, titles awarded to MCA student Mansehaj and CSE student Ekam respectively.

The Fresher’s Day celebrations were graced by esteemed dignitaries including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.K Kohli, Dr. Preeti Sahani, Country Head of Amity Education Group, and the university Deans – Dr. Shivali Dhingra, Dr. Chanderdeep Tandon, Dr. Neerja Babbar and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Majithia.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Kohli congratulated the talented freshers and emphasized the university’s commitment to nurturing creativity and building holistic skill sets.
