The Allahabad High Court has expressed concern over the disappearance of an IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh. The state government should file an answer in this matter by June 14 about what steps the government has taken in their search. The High Court said that this is a serious matter.
This petition has been filed by lawyer Dr. Mukutnath Verma. It said, “Suspended Superintendent of Police, Mahoba, Manilal Patidar is missing. They should be ordered to appear in court. Also, hand over the investigation to the CBI. The Patidars were campaigning against the mining mafia. This spoiled his relations with some people in the administration. Patidar was implicated in some cases. It is possible that the high officials have done something wrong, causing the Patidars to go missing.
