In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a bank’s security guard shot a customer for not wearing a mask. The injured customer has been admitted to the district hospital. At the same time, the guard who attacked has been taken into custody by the police. The police officer said that the customer had an argument with the guard, which took such a serious turn that the guard shot the customer.
The matter is of Bank of Baroda branch located at Bareilly Junction Marg. Superintendent of Police in Bareilly Ravindra Kumar said that Rajesh Kumar had arrived at around 11:30 pm on Friday from bank work. He got into an argument with Keshav Prasad Mishra, the security guard present in the bank branch premises, over some issue. The argument took such a serious form that the guard Keshav Prasad Mishra got angry and shot the customer Rajesh Kumar. Rajesh Kumar was seriously injured due to this.
Rajesh Kumar has been immediately admitted to the district hospital in Bareilly. He is still unconscious, so his side is not known yet. SP City Ravindra Kumar told that for what purpose the injured Rajesh had come to the bank. It will be known when he regains consciousness. Bank of Baroda Station Road branch senior manager Geeta Bhusal said that the forensic team of the police is checking the CCTV footage. The exact status of the incident will be known only after watching the CCTV footage.
On receiving information about the firing in the bank, Inspector General of Police Bareilly Range Ramit Sharma, SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan, SP City Ravindra Kumar reached the spot. Forensic team has started investigation. The guard said that when the customer came to the bank, he did not wear a mask. I asked him to come wearing a mask, on which he got angry and started abusing. He told that there was a clash between them over this matter, after which a bullet was fired by mistake.
