Farmers continue to protest at Ghazipur border in Delhi-UP demanding complete withdrawal of all three central agricultural laws. There are also reports of farmer protesters becoming furious during the ongoing sit-in protests here. In the latest case, there was a ruckus on the Ghazipur border on Wednesday morning. According to information received from Jagran correspondent, the convoy of BJP state minister Amit Balmiki was attacked by farmer protesters.
It is being told that BJP State Minister Amit Balmiki was coming from Delhi to Ghaziabad. During this, BJP workers reached the UP Gate to welcome him. Farmer protesters attacked the convoy while welcoming the supporters at the UP Gate. During this, the protesters also showed him black flags.
It is worth noting that the protesters, who have been opposing the agricultural laws at the UP Gate since November 28, are continuously building pucca here. Due to this, the roads and footpaths under the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, National Highway-Nine and the flyover are getting damaged. The protesters are completely occupied on the highway leading to Delhi and under the flyover. The protesters are continuously building concrete here. Till now, brick masonry has been made on the side of the platform on the highway, about two feet high wall. On the other hand, Additional District Magistrate Nagar Shailendra Singh says that if concrete construction is going on, then it will be removed after talks.
