In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, BJP’s firebrand leader and Sardhana MLA Sangeet Som has again come into the limelight by making a controversial statement on the Muzaffarnagar riots. In a foundation stone laying program, he targeted the former Chief Minister of the state, Akhilesh Yadav. He said that if SP wins even 22 seats in the assembly elections, he will leave politics.
On Sunday, he along with Union Minister and Muzaffarnagar MP Sanjeev Balyan was present in the foundation stone laying program of roads in Bhagwanpur village. He told the villagers of Bhagwanpur that the people here would send him to the assembly for 25 years. Expressing confidence, the public has made Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan MP for the second time.
