In Encounter Miscreant Santosh Jatav Injured and Lata Still Absconding

An encounter took place in the early hours of today in connection with the robbery in the office of Agra Manappuram Gold Loan. During the encounter, a miscreant was injured by the police bullet. Police has arrested him.

Agra : The miscreant involved in the Manappuram gold loan robbery case in Agra has been arrested by the police in an encounter. In the encounter that took place in Manoharpur village of Kamla Nagar, the police arrested the wanted Santosh Jatav. Police have recovered one kg of gold and 63 thousand rupees from him. Although the gangster Narendra alias Lala is still absconding.

Let us inform that on July 17, around 2 pm, 7 miscreants had robbed the office of Manappuram Gold Loan in Kamala Nagar. The miscreants fled on foot after looting about 16 kg of gold. Within two hours of the incident, the police had killed two miscreants, innocent and Manish Pandey, living in Firozabad. The police had recovered about 7 and a half kg of gold and 1.5 lakh rupees from them.

Agra Police is also continuously raiding in many districts for other miscreants who are absconding. In this sequence, a miscreant Prabhat Sharma, accepting his crime, has also surrendered at the police station Kamla Nagar. On the other hand, Santosh Jatav, who is absconding, has been shot in the police encounter today. Now the emphasis of the police is on arresting Narendra alias Lala and his absconding accomplices Avinash alias Renu Pandit and Anshul Solanki alias Lalu.
ADG Zone Agra has also announced a reward of one lakh on Lala. The police are constantly tightening the noose on the relatives and close friends of these miscreants, but till now these miscreants have not been able to get hold of the police. The brother of the crook Narendra has also been killed in the encounter and many cases are registered against him. Still three miscreants including Narendra alias Lala are absconding from the custody of the police.
