No clue of the vehicle that hit the kanwariyas

Three Kanwariyas died on the National Highway on Sunday night

Uttar Pradesh:Three kanwariyas were killed in a collision with a vehicle on the Bareilly-Mathura National Highway on Sunday night. The police got the postmortem done of all the three bodies but even after 24 hours, the police could not trace the vehicle that hit them.
Three kanwariyas were killed in a collision with an unknown vehicle near village Barkheda Gautia on the Bareilly-Mathura National Highway late on Sunday night. Dhirpal (30) s/o Chob Singh, resident of Kisarua village under Musazhag police station area, his friend Gajendra (28) s/o Rajpal, resident of Brahmapur Kundan village, Faridpur police station area of Bareilly and Ram Bahadur (30) Mihalal, resident of Rudrapur village under Bhamora police station area, from a bike. Kachla Ganga Ghat was going to fill water. According to the police station, during this time they were not wearing helmets.

His bike had reached near Barkheda Gautia when it collided with a vehicle. For a long time the three kanwariyas remained lying on the spot. Later, the police reached the information and sent them to the district hospital. Where the doctor declared him dead. Family members say that all three people were going to fill the Kachla water. On the other hand, the police say that they were not Kanwariyas.
The police conducted the post-mortem of their bodies on Monday but could not ascertain till Monday evening which vehicle hit them.

Water filling plan was made in Brahmapur Kundan
Gajendra, a resident of Brahmapur Kundan and Dhirpal, a resident of village Kisrua, work in the Ashoka Foam Factory in Bareilly. Both have a deep friendship. Both the people had reached Rudrapur village at their brother-in-law’s place on Sunday evening. From there, along with brother-in-law’s brother Ram Bahadur, a plan was made to fill Kachla Ganga water.

SP said – there were no kanwariyas
While releasing the video, SP City Amit Kishore Srivastava has said that the three bike riders were not Kavadis. He was neither dressed as a kanwari nor was he a part of any jatha. He had also consumed alcohol.
