UP deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma recieved a written request from Unaided Private School Association (UPSA) to reopen schools for 9-12 classes from July 19. Covid-19 cases are declining says UPSA and requested that schools need to be reopened for the interest of the students in the phased manner.
UPSA President Anil Agarwal said that “due to covid-19 two waves education of students are very much affected. When gyms, malls, stadiums have been reopened then why not schools. Now, when covid-19 cases are declining so offline classes should be resumed.”
He further added that the reopening of schools request sent to the state government by the association in which reopening of schools for 9-12 classes from July 19 and for 1-8 classes from August 2.
