In Uttar Pradesh, the claim of providing 18 hours electricity to rural areas is made by the government. But, these claims were exposed in the meeting of Minister of State Upendra Tiwari in Jaunpur. On Thursday, Jaunpur in-charge Upendra Tiwari reached the tour. On the first day, the minister had reached Sikrara block late in the evening to inspect. The meeting was going on in the block auditorium. During this time there was no electricity there. The generator was turned on. When the oil of the generator ran out, all the officials including the minister sat in the dark, then the meeting was held with the light of the torch.
During the meeting, all the officials of the district, including the minister, sat in the dark for about 15 minutes after the generator oil ran out. The power supply at the block headquarters was also disrupted due to the transformer burning. The minister got furious when it was dark during the meeting. The minister took the class of SDO fiercely. The SDO could not answer any of the minister’s queries. The minister has directed DM Manish Kumar Verma to take action.

During this, the concerned were reprimanded for the dust on the equipment and the bedsheet in the vaccination room getting dirty. During this, Badlapur MLA Ramesh Chandra Mishra complained about the non-construction of the water tank and the construction of the residence of the health workers even after a decade, on which the minister directed the CDO to investigate and take action.
Minister of State Upendra Tiwari made a surprise inspection of Badlapur Kotwali on Friday while going to Sujanganj. When only one or two complaints were registered on two dates, he asked CO Chob Singh the reason for less complaints being registered. On which he expressed displeasure over the lack of proper answer and the shabby wire and dirt hanging in the premises.
