UP: clash between bus and tree on highway, 18 passengers injured

A private bus going from Uttar Pradesh to Banda in Uttar Pradesh after unloading from Surat in Gujarat uncontrolled near Bilarhi Tigella on the Kanpur Sagar Highway and hit a tree along the road.

6 people were seriously injured in the accident while a dozen people suffered minor injuries. The police reached the site and rushed the injured to the district hospital and ambulance took the patients to the hospital.

After Banda resident Juggi and Chhatarpur resident Pappu Yadav were in critical condition, the doctors referred them to the Medical College Jhansi.

The accident happened at around 11 pm on Tuesday night. It is being told that bus service is restricted in UP-MP border due to Corona infection but some private bus drivers are violating the lockdown rules and are commuting people.
