From Friday onwards , the Health Department has prepared for vaccination doses to people between the age group of 18-14 years in the city . For the purpose to be successful centers are being built up in the city schools and colleges for the maximum vaccination . The aim is to provide vaccine doses quickly to maximum people in a short period of time .
A mobile vaccination team has also been deployed in the city from today by the Health Department. The team will visit to different places of the city to apply vaccine . The team is reaching people for vaccination on the second floor of Seva Sadan of Sector-29, Gurdwara Sector-21C, IMA Hall of Sector-35, Railway Station Chandigarh and Sector-17 Punjab National Bank today.
Vaccination for 18-44 years starts from Friday. 33 thousand days of Covishield vaccine have reached Chandigarh to fulfill the purpose . 10 new centres will be built by Health Department. Nadal Officer of Director Health Services and Vaccination Program, Dr. Amandeep Kang said that the process will remain the same for this, but will have to create a separate center for youth above 18 years. Starting today, slots will be opened for online registration. Initially 15-day slots will be opened.
