Woman found dead in suspicious condition,Complaint filed against eight.

Derabassi: A 45-year-old married woman died in a suspicious condition in Bhagat Singh Nagar in the city on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Jatindra Kaur wife of Hem Raj resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar.
The deceased’s Maternal family alleged that their daughter was murdered by her in-laws’ family. The family of the deceased created a lot of uproar over this On the complaint of the family of the deceased, the police have registered a case against eight people including the husband of the deceased Hem Raj, forcing them to commit suicide.

The family of the deceased created a ruckus at the Civil Hospital Derabassi regarding the arrest of the accused. At the same time, both families went face to face to take the dead body. The family of the deceased demanded to take the corpse with him.

After reaching the spot, the police overcame the situation and handed over the bodies to his family members. He then took the body with him to Patiala. In the complaint to the police, the deceased’s brother Indrajit told that he had married his sister 22 years ago.

He further added that 6 years ago they adopted a girl when there was no child in the sister’s family. In laws of his sister including the her husband, harassed the sister for dowry and for not having a child. Due to all this heis sister was mentally ill. Also he said, ‘My sister did not committedsuicide but was killed by her in-laws’ family’.
At the same time, Hemraj, the deceased’s husband, told that his wife used to stay ill. Due to this, the sister started getting mentally disturbed. ‘My sister did not commit suicide but she was killed by her in-laws’ family’.
At the same time, Hemraj, the deceased’s husband, told that his wife used to stay ill because of this she died. For the past few days, her health was deteriorating and she was shifted to hospital on wednesday where she died.

Assistant Inspector in-charge of the police station said that the post-mortem of the body has been done and body was given to the family.
On the complaint of the deceased’s brother, a case has been filed against deceased’s husband Hemraj along with eight in-laws for forcing her to commit suicide. The postmortem report is yet to come.
