Yatra will be made for all Dhams and religious fairs

Dehradun – At the very beginning of the Chardham Yatra, the tourism department and administration had to work hard to streamline the arrangements due to the huge crowd of pilgrims who had gathered to visit Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. In view of this, the state government has announced the formation of a travel authority.

Travel authority will be created for all the famous temples and religious fairs of the state including Chardham. After the announcement by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, efforts are going on to form an authority at the government level.

The main objective of forming the authority is to provide better facilities to the devotees along with crowd management at religious places. In view of this, the state government has announced the formation of a travel authority, but this authority will not only work for the Chardhams, but will also provide basic facilities to Purnagiri, Jogeshwar Dham, Kainchidham, Devidhura, Kanwar Mela under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission. Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said, along with streamlining the Chardham Yatra, work is also going on to create a travel authority. This authority will plan for basic facilities for Char Dham as well as famous Dhams coming under Manaskhand Mission.
