On Wednesday, Malad police arrested Mahesh Sanjeev Pujari in Karnataka Who is 35 years of age and was charged with trying to extort extort nearly 2 Crores on Fridayfrom a building. The arrest was made by police of Karnataka whereasit reached Mumbai on the very next day.
An official states, “Pujari had called the builder through a mobile phone app in May 2021, which showed that the call was made from an international number. He demanded ₹ 2 crore from the builder and threatened to kill him,”
This was an outgoing criminal case from December 2021 because the accused was threatening the builders from from a long time. The anti extortion cell don’t sell off Mumbai has already started the probing on the case because a calling application was used.
