The ambulance driver died on the spot in Moga, Punjab on Tuesday morning due to the explosion of oxygen cylinders.
After receiving an answer from the hospital, the patient was brought home by ambulance. At home, the ambulance driver was applying oxygen cylinders to the patient and the cylinder exploded. The ambulance driver died on the spot due to scorching in the fire of the explosion, while the son-in-law of the patient was severely scorched. He has been admitted to Mathuradas Civil Hospital. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the body and placed it in Mathuradas Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
At the same time, after the accident, the family of the ambulance driver Satnam Singh staged a sit-in protest outside the civil hospital Moga. The family is seeking compensation. Ajmer Singh son of Bachan Singh (60 years), resident of village Kokri Behnwal, was admitted to the hospital at Sidhu Hospital in the city. Doctors from the hospital responded to the relatives when the condition of the patient worsened. After this, the family took the patient home from the ambulance of the hospital itself. After reaching home, when the family requested the ambulance driver to apply oxygen to the patient, the ambulance driver tried to apply oxygen to the patient from the cylinder. Meanwhile, the cylinder exploded and caught fire. In the accident, ambulance driver Satnam Singh (19) died on the spot, while the son-in-law of the patient was seriously injured. After extinguishing the fire, the driver and the injured were brought to Mathuradas Civil Hospital from the same ambulance.
