One year old child kidnapped from Harki Paidi area for the second time in ten days, two suspects caught on camera

Haridwar, 09 April 2024: The woman had left her one-year-old child with her elder daughter at Naisota Ghat and had gone to get food. When she returned with food, she found the child missing.

Continuous incidents of kidnapping of children from Harki Paidi area are increasing the headache of the police. Last week, the case of kidnapping of a three-year-old girl was revealed and the accused was arrested and the girl was recovered, but now on Tuesday morning a one-year-old child was kidnapped. Due to which there was panic in the police also. Two suspects, including a woman, have been captured in CCTV cameras. Police have started searching for the accused. SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal has also issued necessary instructions in the matter.

The incident occurred around 9 am on Tuesday morning. When Neetu’s wife Chhotu Das resident Laljiwala Rodibelwala left her one year old child with her elder daughter at Naisota Ghat and went to get food. When she returned with food, she found the child missing, upon enquiry, it came to light that someone had kidnapped her. On receiving information that the child was stolen, the police also rushed to the spot.

Kotwali in-charge Kundan Singh Rana immediately reached the spot with the team and collected information about the case. Police teams analyzed the footage of CCTV cameras installed at different places. In which a suspicious person was seen carrying a child in his lap. Also a woman was also seen in the footage. Inspector Kundan Singh Rana said that the matter is being investigated. Soon the child will be recovered and the accused will be arrested.
