Pulwama Martyr Major Vibhuti’s wife Nikita ready to join army

Nitika Dhoundiyal, wife of Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, who was martyred in the Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir, has joined the Indian Army. Nitika Dhoundiyal has joined the army as a lieutenant. Then Nitika, who was working in a software company in Noida, quit her job and took the examination of the Women’s Special Entry Scheme in Allahabad in December 2019. She had passed the exam only last year. She passed the screening test, psychological test, ground test, interview and medical test. Its merit list was released in March 2020. After the merit list was released, Nitika got a call letter from the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.Now after completing training, Nitika has officially joined the army as a lieutenant, wearing an army uniform. Nitika and Major Dhoundiyal met for the first time in college. They got married in April 2018, but lost her husband Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal after the Pulwama attack, just a few months before their first wedding anniversary.
