A speeding trolley hit Activa-riding women on Amritsar Highway near Chowgitti in Jalandhar. In the accident, both the women died on the spot and the driver fled with the trolley. Police have arrested the accused trolley driver Satnam Singh resident at Rama Mandi Chowk.
At the same time, the driver says that he was going from Srinagar to Delhi. He didn’t even know that someone had come under his trolley. He was told by a car driver that women had come under his trolley. The deceased women have been identified as Amarjeet Kaur and Anita Sharma.
