The speeding trolley hit the women riding Activa, both died

Both the deceased women were residents of Mohan Vihar in Ladewali. The women were coming from Ladewali side. As soon as he climbed on the highway, a speeding trolley hit him from the side.

A speeding trolley hit Activa-riding women on Amritsar Highway near Chowgitti in Jalandhar. In the accident, both the women died on the spot and the driver fled with the trolley. Police have arrested the accused trolley driver Satnam Singh resident at Rama Mandi Chowk.

At the same time, the driver says that he was going from Srinagar to Delhi. He didn’t even know that someone had come under his trolley. He was told by a car driver that women had come under his trolley. The deceased women have been identified as Amarjeet Kaur and Anita Sharma.

Due to this, both the women including Activa went ahead while dragging and they died there. For a long time the bodies of both remained lying on the road. The police kept waiting for the ambulance, due to which the traffic was blocked.
