Uttarakhand Director General of Police said Some people are misleading the police personnel

Dehradun: Director General of Police Ashok Kumar has given a message to police personnel through video. In which he has said that every effort is being made to get police personnel at 4600 grade. Therefore, policemen should not be seduced by outsiders. The DGP said that he is proud that he is leading the smartest and humanitarian police force of the country. The work done by the Allied Police in the covid-19 period is being appreciated in the country. Some people outside the department do not want the image of the police to be good. Therefore, they are confusing the soldiers. The soldiers should not fall into the trap of such persons and should not pay heed to the rumors. Vigilance is being taken on the issue of grade pay of policemen. After this year, a proposal for 4600 grade pay has been sent to the police. Taking a positive stand in this matter, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has constituted a committee under the leadership of the Chief Secretary at the government level. Constant contact is being established with the committee. The problem will be solved only by talking .All efforts are being made to ensure that the policemen get a grade of 4600.
There is increasing resentment among policemen regarding the reduction in grade pay. On Friday, at the police headquarters, officers and head constables of 2001 and 2002 batches were called for talks. According to police sources, the officers had offered 4200 grade pay and ASI positions in front of the jawans, which they turned down. Some jawans said that they want only 4600 rupees grade pay.
During this time some jawans wanted to keep their point, but some officers did not let them talk. After this some officers assured the jawans that their demands would be met. It is being told that the matter of grade pay is going on in full swing in the group formed by the police personnel. The jawans are even saying that if their grade pay is reduced then they can also take the step of mass retirement.
