CBSE: Classes IX to XII onwards merit based questions will also be asked.

From the session 2021-22 the Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the question paper structure from Classes IX to XII as competency based questions will also be asked. The proportion of questions will be 30% for the students of 9th and 10th class that includes multple choice questions, case studies, source based, integrated and many more . On the other hand the proportion of questions for higher classes i.e eleventh and twelfth will tends to be 20% only. The count of short and long questions has been reduced for nineth to twelfth class students.

Moreover As per CBSE ; the total marks and exam duration of the exam will remain same as before. Whereas, the question paper structure will be changed to strengthen the evaluation process.
