Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri, Mohali Shines at the India Skills 2021 Competition

Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri is pleased to announce the mega performances and winners with the exemplary performances, held in CGC J at State & National level.
Success is where preparation and opportunity meet & that’s where CGC Jhanjeri stands tall!
In the biggest showcase of skills excellence two students of Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri were awarded for their commendable performance. Mr. Wakaar Ahmed secured the gold medal in state level skill competition and Arshdeep Dhammu secured silver medal with modules accompanying MCQ test, practical test and viva voice at the India Skill Competition 2021 under the guidance of their top faculty member, Dr. Rajneesh Talwar (Director Engineering) and PSDM, after putting in days of hard work and intense training. Well, that wasn’t enough, later they proved their skills and dedication at the regional level where two of these gems, Wakaar Ahmad & Arshdeep dhammu participated as a team and represented the Gold medal. That’s wasn’t the happy ending either, to compete in the national competition and bringing home a Silver medal was the massive achievement in concrete construction work and we’re short of words, how proud we are.
In the meantime the spokesperson from the panel came ahead and said, “You will note we have a few co-winners per category as we felt they deserved the recognition. And we would like to congratulate everyone on the shortlist, and especially our winners. You show true innovation and leadership in driving Responsible Business. We hope you will share your experience far and wide and look forward to reading follow-up actions next year!”
These National awards recognize outstanding contributions towards their work and knowledge. The Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, Mohali, which mainly focuses on skill integrated higher education has always encouraged the students and given all types of facilities to showcase their talents to the world level and is at cloud 9 after getting to add these feathers onto their cap.
